Site description

Mound at the centre of an enclosure complex, with several later structures visible on the surface and an extensive sequence of prehistoric occupation exposed by excavation.

Heritage value & conservation: No immediate damage or threats. This section of the qa shore does not appear to have been greatly affected by the agricultural clearances. However, the presence of an partially open trench may leave the site vulnerable to damage and a target for looters. To mitigate against this, the site was further backfilled with sand and stones in 2019.

Remarks: First recorded by TR in 2013. Excavated between 2014 and 2018.
